The School of Foreign Studies and the College of Liberal Arts held the 3rd Sungkyun Management Forum Humanities Research Scholarship Meeting in Okryucheon on March 28 (Thursday). The 3rd Sungkyun Management Forum Humanities Research Scholarship will be awarded to three people, Yoon Young-chae, Yoon Young-chae, Cho Kyo-hyun, Cho Kyo-hyun, and Yoon So-young, both of the Department of Korean Language and Literature, and Yoon So-young, who will receive a scholarship of 5 million won per person per year to publish research papers in academic journals.
Chairman Jeon Yong-joo and Secretary-General Lee Si-sang attended the research scholarship delivery ceremony at the Sungkyun Management Forum, and Kim Dong-min, dean of the College of Confucian Studies, Ahn Dae-hoe, dean of the Department of Korean Language and Literature, and Lee Sang-dong, a professor of history, attended the school to encourage scholarship students.
In his greeting, Chairman Jeon Yong-joo said that scholarships were provided by gathering the will of members of the Sungkyun Management Forum to support the development of humanities-related fields and the development of excellent professors. Scholarship students were also honored to receive valuable scholarships sent by members of the Sungkyun Management Forum through appreciation, and showed their determination by briefly describing future research plans.
The Sungkyun Management Forum is a group of managers from this school and greatly contributes to the development of the alma mater, and the "Sungkyun Management Forum Humanities Research Scholarship" was proposed and promoted as one of the measures to support the development of the humanities field of this school and the development of excellent professors. The international universities and liberal arts universities established implementation plans and guidelines for the operation of scholarships by reflecting the purpose of the Sungkyun Management Forum's scholarship support, and selected and recommended students with excellent research results and development potential. Based on the research scholarship support, the scholarship students will study the application topic for one year and publish the results in a journal.
